Competitor Dossier: see the whole picture on one screen

DossierAdsNew

The new Competitor Dossier pulls everything we know about a store onto a single screen — and every tile now loads in parallel and fills independently, so you start reading the moment the first metric lands instead of waiting for the slowest one.

What's new

  • Live-ads timeline that tells the truth. The active-ads curve now keeps API-inactive intervals in the series, so you see the real ramp of a campaign instead of a flat line with a spike.
  • Country targeting, fully expanded. Targeted-countries now decompose Europe into individual countries, and a "+N" chip reveals every remaining country with its share — no more guessing what's behind the rollup.
  • Top Target % is computed over total active ads (TrendTrack-style multi-vote), so the headline number reflects where the spend actually concentrates.
  • Demographics map + per-country ad counts, a header tracker, and a dark-mode timeline fix round out the view.

Faster, too

Top-ad creative thumbnails are now pre-warmed to R2, so the Ads grid loads instantly the first time you open a dossier.

Shop Tracker + simpler pricing

Shop TrackerPricingBilling

Shop Tracker graduated to a coherent, end-to-end view of any competitor store — and we cleaned up pricing while we were at it.

Shop Tracker

  • Coherent ad metrics across the board. The ad-type breakdown now includes Meta and Google and sums to the true active total, the grid and dossier headline read the same number, and the socials total includes the Facebook page count. Numbers finally agree everywhere.
  • Resilient refresh. A 422 on a store homepage no longer aborts the rest of the enrichment, and the homepage profile is fetched concurrently with the other upstreams so refreshes are faster.
  • Tracked-shops meter in usage, plus a plan badge in the sidebar.

Pricing & billing

  • New plan lineup: $39 / $79 / $149 (Starter / Pro / Business), with annual billing at roughly 30% off per month.
  • Ads + all organic content included on every plan, unlimited team — no per-seat pricing.
  • Trial hardening and anti-temp-mail on sign-up, plus a clearer trial countdown in the sidebar.
  • Added a Crisp chatbox so you can reach us from inside the app.

Ads that actually play, instantly

AdsLibraryPerformance

Ad creatives are the heart of WhatWins, so we made them feel instant.

What changed

  • True media-type detection for Meta ads. Ads are labelled Video or Image up front instead of defaulting to image and flipping — and a cron now resolves media types every tick.
  • Instant inline playback. Meta ad videos autoload and play straight away — no still frame, no play-logo flash, no waiting.
  • Hover pre-warming on every Meta ad (not just the ones already tagged as video), so the dialog opens to a playing video.
  • Filterable Ads tab — filter by source, type and search, with per-option counts on every facet (country / source / media / status) computed from the full table, not a sampled blob.
  • Save from every ad dialog, reopen saved ads, and a polished, uniform card grid with real brand logos.

Store traffic & revenue intelligence

DossierTrafficRevenue

We added the business context behind the content — how much traffic a store gets, where it comes from, and what that's worth.

Traffic & revenue

  • Store breakdown panel with SimilarWeb traffic: visits, trend, and top countries.
  • Switched to a long-history provider (up to 12 months per store), pre-fetched on refresh so there's no open-time delay.
  • Traffic-based revenue estimate with a 3M / 6M / All toggle and country-share bars — plus honest empty-state copy when there isn't enough data.

Ad archives

  • Full paginated Meta + Google ad archives per store, with inactive (stopped) ads accumulated so you can see the whole history.
  • Truthful grid totals and dynamic faceted filter counts derived from the complete ad table.
  • One merged Ads tile (Meta + Google) alongside a Monthly-visits tile, with country pills.
